PSSCC Head convinces Religious and IP Leaders of Paquibato District to vaccinate

Public Safety and Command Center (PSSCC) Head, PLtCol Angel B Sumagaysay (Ret) conducted a dialogue with two hundred and fifty (250) religious, Indigenous Peoples, and Tribal Leaders, as well as Datus and Bahani Warriors of the Barangays within Paquibato District, November 24, 2021, Wednesday.

The dialogue aimed to identify and address the causes of the hesitancy of the Leaders to vaccinate against the COVID19 Virus and was attended by seven (7) Barangays of the said District. The Barangays in attendance are namely: Barangay Paquibato Proper, Tapak, Mapula, Lumiad, Salapawan, Colosas, and PaƱalum.

PSSCC Head was also accompanied by the Paquibato District Health Officer to aid in educating the Leaders about the virus and the benefits of vaccinating against said virus.

The dialogue was a success and the Leaders expressed their commitment to vaccinate as well as convince their people to do the same. A vaccination roll-out will then be scheduled at the District at the soonest possible time.
